When we move, God moves.
Romans 12:1-2 NLT
And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him. Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.
Once we make the decision to get ourselves back aligned to God’s will, He can release what He has in store for us. One of the greatest things that He can offer us (next to Himself) is a transformed mind. With a mind that is transformed by good, we are not so quick to assimilate the world around us.
Secondly, the latter of verse two says this, “Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.” What an amazing promise! In doing our part in ensuring that we are living according to God’s Word, God can allow His Word to live and breathe in our lives. We are able to learn the purpose of our existence, as well has learn the tools that make our existence thrive.
In learning our purpose we also learn our gifts. Our gifts that are given by God, are used to help grow others, which will help grow the Kingdom. Thus, we play a major part of paving the way for God to turn it for the world! Be ye transformed.
Love you, be blessed!
