Remember Why You Started

Don't Quit01

I’ve been blessed to be in leadership in my place of employment.  Every day I try to share a positive message with our team.  Here is today’s message:

They say, the hardest part is starting.  That’s not completely true.  Though it may be difficult to start, the hardest part is finishing.  We all begin different journeys, and throughout the journey things get harder.  It can be come frustrating to the point of giving up.   But I’ve learned that life is like a video game.  The first stage is always easy.  Oft, we beat it on the first try.  However, as we progress, it becomes a little more challenging.  When we finally make it to the final battle, it appears to be the hardest thing we’ve ever dealt with.  But here’s the beauty, all the stages we’ve conquered previously has prepared us for the finale.  Our persistence will bring victory.  Never give up when challenges become the most extreme.  That simply means that you’re closer to your goal than you’ve ever been.  Don’t quit! Remember why you started!

Let’s make today great on purpose!

Because I am at work, I can’t really put scriptural references in what I send out, but I can here.  So I will leave you with Isaiah 40: 28-31 which states:

28 Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth.  He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom.

29 He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.

30 Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall;

31 but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

Love you, be blessed
