I’ve been trying to come up with the words to express how I feel about this weekend. We hosted my first book release party and signing for LAYERS. Thank each and every one who showed up. Thank you to those who have shared kind words. Thank you to everyone who purchased a book.
I am overwhelmed with thoughts and feelings. This has been a long time coming. Now that it’s here I am in love with the feeling of completion. Something major that jumped out to me in a new way is that completion also equates a new beginning. I now have to add more to me. I’ve gone from dreamer to writer, to published author, to marketing and promoter. This experienced has stretched me. It forced me to learn how to create a book trailer. It forces me to learn new systems. It places me in a position to be in front of people to connect with them. This journey has even pushed me to smile and take pictures. I am completely out of my comfort zone. But that is a great thing.
My next goal is to document what I have learned during this journey. The goal with this is the same as all others that I set. I desire to have others learn from my lessons and success. If I can help the next person have an easier journey, then my job is complete.

These past few months have been exciting. When goals begin to come to life after experiencing a ton of defeats, it feels amazing.
